The pay range per hour is $23.75 - $40.40.Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store.As a General Merchandise Team Leader, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day most likely will include the following responsibilities:Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience.Execute daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement.Help empower the team to create a consistent experience for our guests.Help create a scheduling plan approved by your ETL based on monthly and weekly business workload and guest traffic.Evaluate candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric team.Work a schedule that aligns to guest and business needs.Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing all best practices as outlined with team onboarding and learning.Support guest services such as back-up cashier, digital fulfillment processes while maintaining a compliance culture.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORWe might be a great match if:Working in a fun and energetic environment makes you excited.Providing service to our guests that makes them say I LOVE TARGET! excites you.Leading teams who are stocking, setting, and selling Target products sounds like your thing.The good news is that we have some amazing training that will help teach you everything you need to know to be a General Merchandise Team Leader.
