Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Event Sales Manager at Joe's Stone Crab Restaurant in Miami, FL. The Event Sales Manager will be responsible for coordinating and executing private events, managing event and catering sales, and ensuring seamless communication with clients to deliver memorable experiences.
Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business Prospecting: Proactively seek out new event sales opportunities by identifying and establishing relationships with key industry partners, including hotel concierges, Destination Management Companies (DMCs), wedding planners, corporate event planners, and other relevant contacts.Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.Off-Premise Event Coordination: Collaborate with the operations team to execute events off-premise.Event Sales & Catering Development: Create and execute strategies to drive event and catering sales, including but not limited to corporate events, weddings, social gatherings, and private dining experiences.Collaborative Sales Efforts: Work closely with the Private Dining Manager to seamlessly transition inbound inquiries into confirmed bookings, ensuring a cohesive approach to sales.Marketing Coordination: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and tools supporting event sales efforts.Client Meetings and Site Visits: Conduct client meetings, site visits, and presentations to showcase Joe’s Stone Crab as the premier venue for events in Miami Beach.Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure profitable event sales while maintaining Joe’s Stone Crab's high standards.Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue performance to senior management.
