What You'll DoThe Footwear Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing a marketing strategy that positions Wilson as a leader in both performance and sportstyle Footwear. They will lead marketing efforts to generate demand and will implement marketing mixes to increase brand awareness, influence consumer engagement, and drive business results.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Define and implement marketing strategy for Wilson Footwear

Oversee all Wilson Footwear marketing campaigns to drive successful product launches, Sport 360 initiatives and evergreen collections

Shape a complementary marketing mix that drives awareness and conversion (Media, PR, Retail, Social Media, Affiliates, Influencers, Content, Events, and Seeding)

Build a consumer acquisition plan that brings new consumers into the brand funnel

Drive meaningful and disruptive awareness for Wilson Footwear

Collaborate with creative leads on campaign development; maintain brand consistency across all activations

Actively engage in Proto-Reviews and Product Meetings as required

Co-lead the planning and management of the annual marketing budgets for respective category

Collaborate with Wilson Business Unit Marketing leads to integrate Footwear into plans and creative assets, driving cohesion and maximizing existing equity, relationships, reach, and scale

Work in concert with Apparel Marketing, Retail Marketing, and Community Marketing leads to drive awareness and increase traffic to Wilson DTC

Team up with the Partnerships & Collabs team to identify potential capsule collections, bundles, etc. to help drive awareness and brand heat.

Use and analyze data to identify trends, optimize campaigns, and measure performance, create actionable insights, identify gaps Report

Own regular marketing KPI reports and present high-level overviews to organizational leadership

Compensation: 100K-120K + 10% bonus opportunity

What We're Looking ForThis role requires a bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years of experience in Marketing or a related field (sports industry is a plus) or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

Additional requirements should include:

Significant interest, passion or experience in sneaker culture and tennis

Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing tactics/channels

Sophisticated Consumer Mindset; In-depth knowledge of current and emerging consumer trends

Master collaborator with a proven ability to connect, align and enroll key stakeholders

Excellent written/verbal communication skills

Budget management skills; Proven ability to work with limited resources and budgets

Self-motivated with confidence to take initiative & ownership

Hyper efficient and organized with proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment

Ability to think creatively and innovatively

Professional judgment and discretion that comes from years of experience in the field

Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges

Available to travel approximately 25% of the time, including weekdays, weekends, and evenings as required by events and business needs
