POSITION: Corporate Controller
SHIFT: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
SALARY: Commensurate with Experience

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Prepare and manage corporate financial statements, such as balance sheets and income statements
- Prepare and manage budgets and allocating expenses
- Oversight and management for Accounting processes and controls to include month end close processes, journal entries and GL reconciliations
- Analyze financial results, trends, costs, and budgets to assess accuracy and completeness
- Make recommendations and focus on cost savings and profitability
- Ensure compliance with financial and accounting regulations
- Develop and implement financial policies
- Audit and advise management about issues concerning financial impact and internal controls or best practices not being followed
- Assist CFO with cash flow planning
- Oversight and management of Cash to include CEO banking products, cash reconciliations & transactions, and internal controls
- Oversight and management of fixed assets, processes, and procedures
- Oversight and management of T&E process and procedures
- Oversight and management of pCard process and procedures
- Oversee and support Accounts Payable and Corporate Accounting staff
- Hire, supervise, and train accounting team members
- Develop and mentor accounting team members to be successful
- Identify goals and key Metrix for team
- Demonstrate leadership skills encouraging the "One Team One Score" philosophy
- Other duties as assigned
- Experience in preparing financial statements and budgets
- Good understanding of all areas of accounting
- Ability to implement best practice through the entire organization
- Ability to solve complex problems and use technology software to automate processes
- Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions
- Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and grasp and understand business concepts and issues
- Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems and formulate a sound decision using the available information
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with management using the spoken word
- Prompt and dependable attendance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 5 years related work experience
- At least 5 years management experience
- Technology background a plus
