In doing so, we can address inequities that exist in the housing market and support our efforts to make home possible for America’s families.Your Impact:As a leader and communications subject matter expert with a keen interest in DEI, this role leads a team responsible for developing and executing on our DEI program brand and communications strategy. This includes executive communications for the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, other officers in the division and branding and communications across our DEI pillars in support of workforce attraction and engagement efforts, supplier diversity needs, and community outreach initiatives among others. Key responsibilities include:Lead the development and oversee the execution of an annual brand and strategic communications plan, using data and storytelling, to drive outcomes aligned with our Board-approved DEI strategic plan.Partner with corporate communications on the execution of communication campaigns.Partner with key stakeholders across the four DEI focus areas and the ESG team to shape and tell a comprehensive DEI story.Lead and manage executive communications ensuring alignment with corporate messaging and positioning.Serve as DEI communications team leader holding team members accountable while helping them grow and develop.Lead all research related to DEI leveraging external DEI think tanks and/or other industry leading experts.Serve as the enterprise-wide inclusive content expert.Lead, manage and share our DEI story with key audiences surfacing relevant and appropriate stories for publication.Lead ad-hoc special initiatives across DEI division as needed.Qualifications12+ years of related experience and 4+ years management experience.College degree or equivalent experience in English, communications, marketing, etc.Superb writing, editing and proofreading skills, attention to detail.Solid knowledge of DEI and inclusive content best practices preferred.Key to success in this roleDeep curiosity to learn about new trends and topics.Ability to use data to formulate and flex communications.Intellectual agility and interpersonal flexibility.Comfortable in the space between no longer and not yet.Ability to develop mutually beneficial relationships inside and outside of DEI.Today, Freddie Mac makes home possible for one in four home borrowers and is one of the largest sources of financing for multifamily housing. site.This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $183,000 - $275,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
