Capital One Software is seeking a team-oriented project manager with exceptional project management and relationship-building skills. The individual in this role is passionate about marrying innovation with emerging technologies. As a Manager, Project Management at Capital One, you will drive strategy and execute on high priority projects for the company. You will work with smart and passionate people to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line.
General Responsibilities:
Lead complex projects and programs, providing strategic direction and guidance to projects, peers, and team members.
Navigate through Go-To-Market, Product, Tech, and Operations domains with a growth mindset, continuously learning new technologies to solve problems through effective coordination and collaboration.
Partner with cross-functional teams and project customers, offering strategic insights and operational support while applying exceptional influencing abilities to drive project delivery.
Design, develop, and manage project plans in dynamic environments, adapting to changing requirements and priorities while executing effective risk mitigation to keep projects on track and within schedule.
Focus on continuous process improvement, enhancing project management practices and methodologies.
The Ideal candidate:
Has a proven track record in project management, quickly establishing frameworks for managing work in complex environments.
Builds strong relationships with key stakeholders to maintain commitment and achieve successful outcomes.
Communicates effectively with stakeholders at all levels, using strong partnership and communication skills to manage, inform, and influence project outcomes.
Utilizes problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity to address challenges, offering practical solutions in collaboration with teams.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
At least 7 Years of Project Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters / MBA degree
8+ years of Project Management experience
1+ years of People Management experience
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
Experience in implementing technology projects

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations.
Remote (Regardless of Location): $125,300 - $143,000 for Manager, Project Management
This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
