We are on an exciting mission to build a fruit forward snacking legacy around an incredible product line with truly remarkable people to create something special for generations to come!What you will do:The Senior Director of Grocery and Small Format leads a high-performing sales team, crafts comprehensive channel strategies, and ensures seamless execution across multiple channels (Grocery, C-store, Drug, Foodservice & Specialty).You will play a key role in molding the company's long-term strategic plans and will allocate resources across assigned channels (inclusive of Omni Channel). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and will manage brokers to achieve shared objectives.Job Aspects:Establishment of Strategic Vision and Tactics: Develop and articulate a strategic vision for your business. Implement effective trade tactics to ensure the successful execution against strategy.Effective Negotiation: Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, equipping your team to create and execute highly effective negotiation strategies.Establishment of Value-Add Relationships: Cultivate and nurture top-tier, value-add relationships across diverse channels. Foster strong and mutually beneficial connections that contribute to the company's success.Implementation of Measurement Tools and Processes: Ensure the implementation of robust measurement tools, resources, and streamlined processes to effectively track and monitor progress against goals. Display a proven history of sound decision-making and a willingness to take responsibility for the results.Action-Oriented: Translate insights into actionable plans, challenging the team to adapt, pivot, and create fresh, innovative approaches when solving problems.You are:Agile: Easily adjusts to changes and challenges.Problem-Solver: Actively finds solutions to issues.Empathetic: Understands and manages emotions well.Open-Minded: Approaches new situations with curiosity.Encouraging: Promotes a culture of continuous learning.You have:Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.10+ years of experience in the Sales function, including direct management of a team (4+ years of leading teams), exceptional grocery experience.Excellent communication, negotiation, collaboration, analytical, and influencing skills.Ability to know when to empower others and when to take a hands-on approach.History of leading sustained growth within previous roles.Experience managing a customer P&L and possess financial acumen.Proven ability to grow revenue and market share.Demonstrated proficiency in developing sales strategy at a channel level.Pluses:Master's degree in business administrationExperience across assigned channels (Grocery, C-store, Drug, Foodservice & Specialty).Currently reside in (or willing to relocate to) Salt Lake CityCertain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs.
