As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional technical support and solutions to our clients. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, managing client networks, and ensuring optimal performance of their IT systems. This hybrid position allows you to work from home while also visiting client sites to provide hands-on support when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide remote and onsite technical support to clients, addressing hardware, software, and network issues.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner.

Install, configure, and maintain client systems, including desktops, laptops, servers, and networking equipment.

Manage and monitor client networks to ensure security, performance, and availability.

Assist with the implementation of new technologies and solutions for clients.

Document all support activities and resolutions in our ticketing system.

Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver exceptional service and support.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Previous experience working at an MSP - knowledge of RMM tools, ticketing systems, etc.

Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.

Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.

Experience with network administration and troubleshooting (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).

Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS).

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for onsite visits.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.

Few Things to Note:

On-Call Rotation:

Participation in an on-call rotation is required.

Travel Area:

Travel will likely be within the MA, CT, RI area.

WFH Environment:

Even when working from home, you are expected to maintain a quiet and professional environment.

Meetings:

Camera must be on during meetings, and business casual attire is required.

Must be a

good communicator , with the ability to articulate well both verbally and in writing.
