Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Responsibilities:Define scope and nature of pilot(s)Communication with pilot users, setting expectations, etc.Define/refine role of floor walker (understand responsibilities and process, do we need partial or full night shift? How to fix machines not on, plugged in vs. failed migration)Careful collaboration with UX team for message creation and timing of end user communicationsWork with IT at all locations to define their schedule within the Maser Migration Schedule as well as scope of migration/batch (location, depts., etc.)Determine limits/capacity for nightly migration (network limit, support limit, etc.)Communicate with internal teams re: general scope parameters for batch creationTake exceptions/issues from stakeholders and coordinate with local IT for remediationWork with local IT, help desk, or OMI to remediate any issues on migrationTake a careful/strategic approach and coordination regarding VIP migration for both OpCom and other VIPsParticipate in Quarterly IT Shop Win11 Meetings and Monthly Q&A Sessions facilitated by the central IT teamRequirements:Self-starter, capable of initiating plans/actions without waiting for direction from other teamsAbility to quickly and clearly communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, Client Engineering, local IT, floor walkers, etc.Ability to assess and balance multiple priorities when creating migration schedulesBasic understanding of all aspects of the standard infrastructure processesDeliverables:Detailed documentation: business, functional and technical requirements; use and test cases (ensure traceability)Detailed design decision documentation: who made, approved, and agreed on decision and/or alternative suggestionsLandscape documentation: current mode of operation (As-is)Test cases based upon functional and technical requirementsDetailed documentation: work instructions, configuration guides, operation/administrative guides (as needed)Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Technical/Analytical:Ability to decompose business requirements into functional and technical requirementsAbility to use activity, sequence and/or data flow diagrams to identify performance requirementsExperience writing Use CasesAbility to analyze and document business and system processesAbility to perform a gap analysis using business process diagrams, data models, and requirementsAbility to locate the cause of problems in business process flowsAbility to identify problems and gaps at the program or system level and recommend alternative solutionsAbility to identify test data based on business requirements, system requirements, system documentation, and end-user documentationHigh level of skill with MS Office tools including Visio and ExcelDepartment: Preferred VendorsThis is a contract position.
