Our client, a construction firm located in Columbus, OH, has an immediate need for a Sr. Estimator. Candidates need to have 5-10 years of experience in Large Multi-Family Residential / Apartments / Senior Housing. This is a direct hire / full-time position.
Additional experience necessary:Experience in Larger Multi-Family / Apartments / HUD / OFHA / Senior Housing EstimatingKnowledge of current market pricing / unit pricingAbility to Lead, Create and Complete Entire Project EstimatesAbility to research specified materials related to the project and find alternatives as requiredAbility to develop Value Engineering Ideas and associated costsAbility to develop preliminary preconstruction schedulesUnderstanding of Project Staffing and General Condition RequirementsStrong Owner and Architect RelationshipsStrong Subcontractor RelationshipsAbility to compete detailed On-Screen TakeoffSet up qualified Subcontractor Bid Lists and willing to call the subs and get them to bidAnalyzing Bids and ScopesPreparation of presentation documentsAbility to present cost information to a client in a professional mannerReview / Analyze and Correct Others' estimates
