Feeding Speech Language Pathologist - PCDI at St Vincent

The Speech Therapist manages and provides skilled speech/language pathology to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account individual patient special physical or age-related needs. Requires skills in patient/client evaluation and treatment, as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with individual's functional level and potential.This position is split between inpatient NICU and out-patient. It will be treating and evaluating patients from birth to 10 years and above, most being birth to 3 years of age.Required Qualifications:Master's Degree from an accredited Speech/Language Pathology Program orPh.D. from an accredited Speech/Language Pathology Program or equivalent educ/experienceCoursework/Training: Specialized speech/language pathology training to meet a particular department needUpon hire: Oregon Speech Language Pathologist LicenseWithin 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart AssociationOccasionally a position will require specialized speech/language pathology experience to meet a particular department need: Level 2 and/or Level 3 NICU ExperiencePreferred Qualifications:Experience with MBSS
