Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Corporate Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee all financial and accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

Oversee all financial management activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Accounting Operations:

Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.Financial Reporting:

Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.Internal Controls:

Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.Audit Coordination:

Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.Tax Compliance:

Oversee tax planning and compliance, including the preparation and filing of tax returns.Strategic Planning:

Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.System Implementation:

Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and software.Cost Management:

Monitor and manage company expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.Experience:

Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role. Experience in Agriculture, Construction, or Manufacture industry is preferred.Skills:

Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Attributes:

Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities. Strong leadership and team-building skills.
