Our client, a top-tier AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate to join their growing team in San Diego. from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.Bar Admission in California (required).At least 4 years
of substantive litigation experience, including
products liability
and/or
breach of warranty
matters, ideally in a mid-size or large law firm.Experience in drafting and arguing
discovery and other motions , taking and
defending depositions , managing document productions, and handling complex case management.Strong written and oral advocacy skills and a desire to learn how to try cases.Key Responsibilities:Represent clients in litigation matters involving products liability, consumer protection, and breach of warranty.Handle cases for manufacturers across various industries, including
automotive, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and industrial machinery .Take the lead on drafting pleadings, discovery (including e-discovery), and motions; manage depositions and document productions.Collaborate with a dynamic team of attorneys to develop case strategies and represent clients in state and federal courts.Represent manufacturers nationwide in
single-plaintiff claims and mass action litigation .Why Join?
In accordance with the salary transparency requirements of the Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act, the compensation range for this role, when based in the state of California, is $185,000 to $225,000, depending on experience.
