About The Role
Wagmo's Director of B2B Marketing will develop and lead Wagmo's B2B marketing strategy. This key role will be responsible for multiple go-to-market programs, including building brand awareness and consideration with our B2B employer segments, developing marketing acquisition and lifecycle initiatives, driving sales enablement, and owning the voice of our customer. Additionally, they will spearhead awareness and consideration campaigns targeting end users, particularly during open enrollment periods.
If you possess expertise in developing and executing effective B2B marketing strategies, along with the drive and ability to build from scratch, we want to talk with you. The ideal candidate will have a passion for growth opportunities and a love for dogs and cats. This is an exciting chance to make a significant impact in a rapidly evolving company.
This role is hybrid, requiring at least 3 days a week in our NYC office.
Core ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement Wagmo's B2B marketing roadmap to position Wagmo as a valuable voluntary benefit for employersCreate and execute a playbook to drive marketing programs that increase corporate adoption of plans as employee benefitsBoost engagement among our customers' employeesManage the marketing budget, allocating resources for maximum ROILead content strategy and brand voice, focusing on website, blogs, podcasts, and other channelsOversee field marketing strategy, including conferences and eventsCollaborate with executive team to prepare for events and speaking engagementsUse analytics to gather insights aimed at refining lead generation, conversion, and engagement marketing programsDeliver regular reports to the executive team on key marketing performance, pacing updates, and test resultsStay updated on effective tactics, tools, and partners to improve conversions, retention, and product uptakeMonitor industry trends and apply insights to develop innovative marketing approachesManage external agencies and partners to maximize impact and drive accountability of resultsWhat You'll Need to be Successful7+ years of B2B Marketing experience, with strong proficiency in B2B2C marketing programs and strategiesExperience in a high-growth startup environmentProven track record of developing and executing successful brand awareness campaigns that target employersDemonstrated ability to lead and shape compelling content strategies aligned with brand voice, engaging target audiences through LinkedIn, blogs, podcasts, and company websiteExpertise in creating marketing materials and strategies that effectively communicate product value propositions for diverse buyers/stakeholders/audiencesExperience building B2B marketing functions and/or strategies from early stagesProficiency in account-based marketing (ABM)Successful history of developing and delivering go-to-market plansExceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work cross-functionally with product, sales, and customer success teamsStrong executive presence, communicating with passion and creative thinkingSelf-starter capable of juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous environmentProblem-solving aptitude with the ability to craft strategic and tactical solutionsData-driven decision-making approach focused on customer needsNot afraid to get your hands dirty with day-to-day tasks to get things doneObsession with driving a best-in-class experience for both employer partners and end usersWhy Consider this role?
