We are seeking candidates for a Director of National Wine Sales. We are an established importer and distributor of high quality French & Spanish Wines. We sell our exclusive wines in 12 states. Our goal is to grow sales in these states and selectively expand to additional territories. Our winemakers and wineries are well recognized, highly rated by the international wine press and have strong brand awareness.
Successful candidates will have an established career of successful experience selling fine wine. This needs to include top performance among peers, a record of growing responsibility including promotion to broader responsibilities and successful supervision of other team members.
Responsibilities
Overseeing local and regional sales, promotions and campaigns Planning and directing the hiring and training of new Sales Representatives Directing and coordinating all sales activities locally and nationally Preparing sales budgets and projections and approving expenditures Using sales data to track, analyze and grow wine sales Fully understanding competitive pricing, product characteristics and our key points of difference Serving as the face of the organization to internal and external partners Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients Setting sales quotas and goals Overseeing and directing performance of the sales team Identifying emerging markets to find new sales opportunities This position requires an entrepreneurial spirit and strong personal motivation to succeed in a highly competitive market. You should be the type of person that is self-motivated, and has a keen, proven record of delivering superior results. Compensation:
