Our radiologists & imaging specialists are board certified by the American Board of Radiology in their respective subspecialties. Our subspecialized imaging physicians, American College of Radiology certified technologists and customer-service oriented staff provide our patients with state-of-the-art imaging technologies and innovative treatment options in a compassionate environment.As a Per Diem Radiological Technologist on the X-Ray team, you will contribute to our quality care by producing diagnostic images using a variety of radiographic equipment, including fixed radiographic, O & C-Arms and fluoroscopic. You will perform radiographic procedures on neonate, children, adults, and geriatric patients.Summary of Essential Duties:Patient education prior to the examinationPreparation of supplies and equipment set upHelping perform sterile technique proceduresFollowing established quality assurance proceduresMaintaining patient dignity and confidentialityAssisting radiologists as neededThis position involves rotating within our various radiology locations.
Qualifications
Education:Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Training Program requiredLicense/Certification:Current CRT, CRT-Fluoro, ARRT and BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) certifications requiredExperience:Radiology Tech experience preferredExcellent communication, interpersonal, prioritizing, decision making and multi-tasking skills requiredUnderstanding of medical terminology and medical diagnoses requiredFlexibility and the ability to perform under stressful situations requiredAbility to identify and recognize contraindications for exams requiredKnowledge of clinical billing preferredPhysical Demands:Frequently move/lift between 20-50 pounds, depending on assignment requirementsStand for extended periods with frequent squatting, twisting, bending, kneeling and reaching to prepare equipment, materials or objects in order to deliver patient care or maintain the patient environment
