Description

We're seeking passionate, friendly and experienced individuals to join our Emergency Department at Perth Children's Hospital (PCH).

In the role of Consultant - Paediatric - Emergency Medicine, you'll provide specialist emergency medicine services to patients within the Emergency Department and provide advice on acutely unwell children to primary care practitioners external to PCH. You will promote patient quality and safety and provide leadership, training, supervision, and education, where relevant, for doctors in training and other health workers in collaboration with other Consultants and the Clinical Director/Head of Department.

About Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH): is Western Australia's specialist paediatric hospital and trauma centre, with 298 beds. Located at the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre, PCH offers primary care for severe medical cases and secondary services such as inpatient, outpatient, and day-stay care. Our purpose-built facility incorporates the latest evidence-based design principles to deliver optimal care to the community.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/12/2025.
