This position is responsible for broad HR strategies, as well as the day-to-day business of hospitality management. This position requires hotel HR management experience.Responsibilities:Partner with the property leadership team, acting as a trusted advisor.Help the organization meet business goals and objectives by providing appropriate consultation and guidance.Act as a cultural ambassador for team members and a servant leader and coach for leaders.Support the local execution of corporate programs/communications that will impact our people.Participate in the planning and promotion of associate engagement activities.Assist with ensuring that internal communication is in alignment with Evo’s culture and guiding principles.Collaborate with and provide guidance on all human resource issues including workforce talent management, recruitment, and associate relations.Plan and manage the recruitment, interviewing, hiring and orientation processes.Coach supervisors and managers in managing employee performance issues.Direct and supervise Human Resources team.Prepare and maintain Human Resources budget.Maintain thorough knowledge of all Human Resources regulations and laws.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of 3+ years of Director leadership experience is required with a minimum of 3 years hotel HR experience.Exposure to standard HR competencies, including compensation, employee relations, benefits, staffing and training.Strong communication and listening skills.Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities in a professional manner.Proficient skills using Microsoft Office products.If you're passionate about making a difference and leading our Human Resources Department, we would love to hear from you.Benefits:Now offering
