About the unit
The Main Endoscopy Department is located in the basement of the University of Louisville Hospital and is comprised of five procedure rooms, one GI motility room and twenty-four pre/post procedure bays. The department schedules endoscopy procedures in up to four of those rooms between the hours of 7:30 am and 4:00 pm as well as providing services for emergent and urgent add-on procedures on a 24/7 basis.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications
Licensed or eligible for license in Kentucky
Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required for some units
Associates’s degree from accredited college or University
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from accredited college or University
