Accounts Receivable Specialist
Hillcrest Health Services is looking for a detail-oriented and fast-paced individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist.
This position is responsible for all facets of service line billing and collections to include private and third party. They will work collaboratively with designated service line team members to accomplish these responsibilities.

What does a day in the life look like?
Prepare, review, and submit monthly claims for all payers consistent with regulatory requirements, payer contract and/or Hillcrest Health Services policies.Timely submission of all secondary/coinsurance claims upon receipt of primary payment to payers.Review system generated reports to ensure that ancillary charge revenue and contractual allowance transactions posted correctly.Follow up on all returned claims, correspondence, denials, account reconciliations and rebills.Post available charge batches daily after reviewing batch edit list to ensure accurate AR posting and to ensure compliance with CMS and other insurance guidelines.
What do I need to have to be considered for the position?
Completed coursework in Accounting preferred.At least two years' experience in performing accounts receivable duties within a long-term facility or other related health care agencies/facilities including Medicare, Medicaid and insurance billing.
