What We Do

The Senior Finance Manager/ Site Controller will lead and manage Financial Planning & Analysis initiatives primarily focused on HR budgeting and forecasting of staff costs, for business units across the Finance Division in North America. The Sr Finance Manager/ Site Controller will build financial plans and provide actionable insights to key stakeholders, via informed decision-making using people data, to support short and long-term growth of the business and will be a highly visible partner to Senior Leadership and Department/Functional leaders providing financial strength and controls.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations of the Quantum MRO and Logistics Software systemManage and lead the Accounting and Finance teamResponsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, including the loading of HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) and transmission to corporate by required due datesManage general ledger accounting and ensure accounting practices and procedures are in compliance with US GAAP and company policies and procedures (journal entries, BS account reconciliations, inter-company activity reconciliation, etc)Manage the analysis of inventory (roll forwards, product lines, engine acquisitions, reserves, etc.)Assist product line managers with inventory initiatives, lot inventory management, and monthly/quarterly inventory reviews with management.Manage internal and external auditors during periodic financial auditsPrepare financial forecasts and yearly budgetsMake recommendations regarding cost-saving or profit-generating opportunities across the organizationImplement critical initiatives and projects including centralized accounting practices, system implementations and modifications that ensure accurate and reliable reportingQualifications:BA / BS degree in Finance or AccountingMBA and/or CPA preferred10+ years of progressive experience including at least 2 years in a manufacturing, preferably aerospace or similar environment4+ years of previous management experience building and developing talentExtensive computer experience including MS Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office products, database, etc., Quantum and/or EPICOR experience a plusDemonstrated knowledge of financial and accounting concepts, techniques, and regulatory requirements
