$126,160—$153,348 (Approximate annual salary includes 10% confidential supplement)Description:The County Human Resources Benefits Manager oversees and manages employee benefits programs for the County’s workforce, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, controlling costs, and enhancing coverage. This role collaborates with brokers and the Director of Human Resources to negotiate contracts and plays a crucial role in staff management and employee well-being programs as a part of the Principal Leadership team.Qualifications:Education: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in public or business administration, insurance, finance, or a closely related field.Experience: Five years of responsible analytical or management experience, including three years managing and administering comprehensive employee benefit plans. Supervisory experience is preferred.Substitution: Additional qualifying experience in the management and administration of benefit plans may be substituted for the education on a year-for-year basis to a maximum of two years.
