Our staff of physicians, nurses, clinicians and support personnel is dedicated to helping our clients and their families recover from these debilitating disabilities and resume productive lives. Claratel BH is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).The DeKalb Regional Crisis Center provides crisis intervention and stabilization services for adults. The Center offers three levels of care starting with the Crisis Services Center unit that receives walk-ins, transfers from emergency rooms, and involuntary referrals for evaluation. If further observation is needed, individuals are monitored in the Temporary Observation Unit for 12-24 hours. Individuals needing a longer period of stabilization or substance withdrawal management (usually 5-7 days) are admitted to the Crisis Stabilization Unit where ongoing care includes crisis counseling, medication, and assistance with discharge planning.SHIFTS: 12pm - 10:45 pm (10-hour shifts with alternating weekends)JOB SUMMARY:Provides Advanced Practices Registered Nursing to clients at all levels of care with Claratel Behavioral Health.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Provides direct diagnostic and treatment services for adults through scope of practice and under protocol:Performs psychiatric evaluations, assessing mental disorders and recommendation for treatment.Orders medication and delivers psychiatric treatment including but not limited to therapy and medication.Provides consultative services to clinical staff.Completes all required paperwork for internal and external regulatory authorities.Performs duties from a recovery-oriented, client-centered, and trauma-informed perspective.Assists program administration:Reviews and approves ISP’s and other treatment plans.Attends and participates in medical service meetings as scheduled.Participates on assigned agency committees.Documentation:

Will achieve assigned billable hour standard.SKILL, COMPETENCY AND EDUCATION AND/OR LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:Licensed as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.Maintain Board Certification as required by law in the State of Georgia protocol.As applicable, practiced within protocol agreement.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Thorough knowledge of the principles and skill in the practice of Advanced Practice and Psychiatric Nursing.Ability to make professional decisions.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, staff and the public.Ability to communicate effectively, build relationships and promote teamwork with all levels of coworkers.WORKING CONDITIONS:Works indoors in a clinic, residential crisis setting or residential setting. May be required to physically assist clients, may need to carry objects up to 10 pounds. On-call after-hours availability may be necessary in a residential setting.NEEDED ATTRIBUTES:
