Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced
Cloud Security Engineer
to design, implement, and manage the security architecture of our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud platforms and cybersecurity practices to ensure the highest level of protection for GhangorCloud's digital assets and client data.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Implement Cloud Security Solutions:
Develop and enforce security protocols for our cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) that align with industry best practices.
Monitor Cloud Environments:
Continuously monitor and analyze security logs, alerts, and events to detect and respond to potential security threats or breaches.
Manage Cloud Security Tools:
Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud-native security tools, such as firewalls, identity management systems, and encryption mechanisms.
Incident Response:
Act as the first line of defense during security incidents, leading the investigation, remediation, and post-incident analysis.
Compliance and Audits:
Ensure all cloud environments meet regulatory compliance requirements (such as GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO 27001), and prepare for internal and external security audits.
Vulnerability Assessments:
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on cloud infrastructure, remediating risks promptly.
Collaboration:
Work closely with DevOps, IT, and security teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
Documentation:
Create detailed documentation on cloud security policies, processes, and incidents for future reference and audit purposes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience in cloud security engineering or related roles.
Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
Proven knowledge of security protocols, encryption, firewalls, and IAM (Identity and Access Management) policies.
Experience with cloud security tools such as AWS GuardDuty, Azure Security Center, Google Cloud Security Command Center, etc.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and other compliance standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to handle complex security challenges in cloud environments.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer, or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Hands-on experience with cloud automation and security as code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
