Network Technician (Remote - 3RD Shift)

A large nationwide fiber vendor is looking for a Remote Network Technician to work 3rd shift for them during a 6 month contract with possible extensions based on need. The team is very busy and just needs assistance catching up on a few big projects. Since it is a night shift the as is that you work 4x10's, which would start Monday night at 10:00 PM CST through 8:00 AM CST. The main priority of the role is to run RFC2544 tests for recently provisioned Fiber to the Tower circuits. The team would also like this candidate to have a high level understanding on layer 2 from the OSI model. The goal is to remote configure devices to run these test while putting in new upgrades and new core routers. We are looking to pay $35/hr while on contract for this position.
