Senior Software Test Automation Engineer

We're building a platform that matches leading apparel brands with the top tier of retail talent, on-demand.About This RoleWe are seeking a skilled Senior Software Test Automation Engineer to join our Austin based team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing testing solutions and implementing maintainable and extensible test frameworks. This role will be responsible for all aspects of feature and releases testing to ensure platform quality, performance and robustness. This role is initially for a 4 month contract with the option to convert to full time.What You Will Do:Create a comprehensive test plan for manual and automated testing of existing functionalityContinuous management of test plan for new featuresIntroduce and integrate an automated test framework for web and mobileImplementation and execution of manual functional tests for mobile and webDesign, develop, and execute performance test cases and scripts for load and scalability requirementsPerform stress, load, regression, and performance testing to validate the production readiness of releasesParticipate in release preparation and verificationWork with other engineers, product manager and key stakeholders to ensure coverage for each software release.As needed, perform web, API, UI, functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, load, performance, and end-to-end testing`Use bug-tracking systems to submit, track, and manage defects.Maintain software testing artifacts.Qualifications:Extensive experience as a Lead QA EngineerExtensive familiarity with contemporary testing tools, methodologies, and industry standardsExtensive experience working with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, and AppiumSolid understanding of the QA methodologies test planning, reporting, and metrics.Experience writing and performing stress tests of web and api applications using tools such as Blazemeter, JMeter, and LocustUnderstanding of Mobile and Web-based tech stacks using ReactNative, React, Django, and PythonStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical, diagnostic skills, and problem solving with attention to detailCritical thinking skills to analyze system requirements for ambiguities and discrepanciesFamiliarity with writing SQL statements to query and create test dataWhat We're Offering:Four month contract at a fast-growing, early-stage venture-backed companyHybrid team in the heart of downtown AustinDiscounts at your favorite brandsReflex Company Values:Always Take the StairsFlex in Their ShoesSet New StandardsExtreme OwnershipWin as a TeamPlay All OutLocated in Austin, TXOur customers and users come from all walks of life, and so do we.
