We are looking for a dynamic, results-oriented Aviation Account/Sales Director to join our prestigious organization. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving our business development initiatives and maintaining strong relationships with key clients in the aviation industry. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a team of highly skilled professionals in an innovative and collaborative environment. You will be responsible for managing major accounts, driving sales, and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the business. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, sales, and business development.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
  • Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
  • Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
  • Manage and maintain key client relationships within the aviation sector.
  • Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.
  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
  • Meet with key clients, maintaining relationships, and negotiating and closing deals.
  • Analyze and control expenditures of the division to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote the product.
  • Coordinate liaison between sales department and other sales-related units.
  • Assist other departments within the organization to prepare manuals and technical publications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, sales, and business development.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving sales growth in a business.
  • Strong knowledge of the aviation industry and its current events.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with key clients and maintain strong relationships.
  • Exceptional negotiation and deal-closing skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
