Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

Job Details:

Our organization is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Assistant Superintendent to join our growing team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing our construction projects, ensuring that our work meets the highest quality standards and is completed on schedule. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our team's success and to develop your skills in construction management.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Superintendent in planning, coordinating, and supervising on-site functions including scheduling, material control, and day-to-day direction of field personnel.
  • Ensure all construction activities align with the project schedule and meet the required quality standards.
  • Assist in the implementation of safety plans and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on construction progress, including any changes or delays.
  • Assist in the resolution of design and detail issues, working closely with the design team.
  • Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adherence to construction schedules.
  • Assist in the preparation of project reports and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in construction software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction documents.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel as needed.
