Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our finance team. This role is an exciting opportunity for a tax professional to lead and manage multiple operations of the tax practice area and deliver quality tax services, that will increase firm’s reputation. You will serve as a business advisor to our clients aiming at maximizing engagement and achieving qualitative outcomes.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for:

1. Managing tax provision and tax compliance process.
2. Improving processes by developing or implementing best practices.
3. Managing and coordinating tax audits.
4. Preparing all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information data requests.
5. Working closely with auditing staff to ensure proper tax compliance.
6. Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
7. Conducting complex tax research and preparing documentation for audits.
8. Assisting with strategic tax planning and forecasting for clients.
9. Reviewing financial data to assess accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Senior Tax Accountant position will have:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax accounting role. You must have a public accounting background.
3. Strong knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns.
4. Experience with high net worth, complex multi state tax returns
5. Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.
6. Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
7. Analytical skills with detail orientation.
8. Proficiency in relevant accounting software.
