Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, startup environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing tests to ensure product quality. You will be working on a variety of engineering projects, including but not limited to propulsion systems, high voltage, RF, and other flight systems. This role requires a deep understanding of testing principles, vacuum systems, laboratory protocols, and hardware testing. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement test procedures for engineering products.
  2. Conduct rigorous testing using oscilloscopes, vacuum systems, and other laboratory equipment.
  3. Perform hardware testing, high voltage testing, and RF testing to ensure product quality and safety.
  4. Identify, record, and track defects during testing.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop appropriate test strategies.
  6. Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, and potential problems.
  7. Evaluate and recommend testing tools and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  8. Ensure all testing activities comply with industry standards and regulations.
  9. Document test results and prepare reports for management.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a test engineering role.
  3. Proficiency with testing tools and equipment, including oscilloscopes and vacuum systems.
  4. Solid experience with RF and high voltage testing.
  5. Hands-on experience with hardware testing and flight systems.
  6. Strong understanding of laboratory protocols and safety procedures.
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  10. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to engineering testing.
  11. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  12. Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a timely manner.
  13. Adept at critical thinking and proactive in addressing potential issues before they become problems.
