We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, multifaceted medical environment. As a Permanent Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining patient health, providing emotional support, and delivering optimal care services tailored to individual patient needs. You will be working closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, specialists, and other nurses, to ensure the delivery of top-notch medical services. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring flexibility with shift patterns.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in coordination with healthcare professionals.
  2. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions while maintaining accurate and detailed reports.
  3. Conduct physical examinations, make tentative diagnoses, and treat patients en route to hospitals or at disaster site triage centers.
  4. Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
  5. Instruct individuals, families, or other groups on topics such as health education, disease prevention, or childbirth and develop health improvement programs.
  6. Prepare patients for, and assist with, examinations or treatments.
  7. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
  8. Direct or supervise less experienced nursing or healthcare personnel or supervise a particular unit.
  9. Observe nurses and visit patients to ensure proper nursing care.
  10. Maintain a compassionate and caring demeanor towards patients, providing emotional support when needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Must be a Registered Nurse with an active license to practice in the state.
  2. Minimum 2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital or clinic.
  3. Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare IT systems.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centric approach.
  5. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  6. Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
  7. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  8. Familiarity with all medical procedures and practices associated with general nursing.
  9. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  10. BLS, ACLS, or PALS certification is preferred.
