We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, multifaceted medical environment. As a Permanent Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining patient health, providing emotional support, and delivering optimal care services tailored to individual patient needs. You will be working closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, specialists, and other nurses, to ensure the delivery of top-notch medical services. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring flexibility with shift patterns.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in coordination with healthcare professionals.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions while maintaining accurate and detailed reports.
- Conduct physical examinations, make tentative diagnoses, and treat patients en route to hospitals or at disaster site triage centers.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Instruct individuals, families, or other groups on topics such as health education, disease prevention, or childbirth and develop health improvement programs.
- Prepare patients for, and assist with, examinations or treatments.
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
- Direct or supervise less experienced nursing or healthcare personnel or supervise a particular unit.
- Observe nurses and visit patients to ensure proper nursing care.
- Maintain a compassionate and caring demeanor towards patients, providing emotional support when needed.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Nurse with an active license to practice in the state.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital or clinic.
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare IT systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centric approach.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with all medical procedures and practices associated with general nursing.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- BLS, ACLS, or PALS certification is preferred.
