Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the plastic injection molding process, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of production staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Monitor production schedules and workflow, making necessary adjustments to meet deadlines and targets.
  • Implement and enforce safety and quality standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment, processes, and product quality.
  • Collaborate with other department heads and stakeholders to align production goals with overall company objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for process enhancement and efficiency gains.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on plastic injection molding processes and equipment.
  • Prepare and present performance reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role within the plastics manufacturing industry, with specific expertise in injection molding.
  • Proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge of plastic injection molding processes and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a variety of audiences.
  • Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement process enhancements.
