A dynamic plaintiff's civil litigation and trial practice is seeking a dedicated and skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join a legal team in Agoura Hills, CA. This role is ideal for a self-driven attorney looking to expand their litigation experience in a supportive and active trial environment. The practice specializes in representing plaintiffs in employment matters (including both individual and class actions), personal injury claims, nuisance disputes, and toxic mold cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with clients to manage their cases from inception through resolution.
- Draft and oppose various motions, ensuring strong legal arguments are presented.
- Take and defend depositions, leveraging experience to gather crucial case details.
- Appear regularly in court to represent clients, argue motions, and advocate their interests.
- Participate in trial and arbitration preparations, with opportunities to play a significant role in courtroom proceedings.
Qualifications:
- 2 to 5 years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for those with a background in plaintiff employment law.
- Proficiency in conducting and defending depositions and motion practice.
- Strong organizational skills, exceptional written and oral communication, and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
- JD from an accredited law school and an active California Bar license.
