Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Construction Management, concrete paving, asphalt, estimating, and Bid Estimation. This role is designed for a seasoned professional who is ready to take on the challenge of managing large-scale construction projects. With your extensive experience in the field, you will be the driving force behind our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of construction project management from planning to implementation.
2. Allocate resources for assigned projects and supervise onsite operations.
3. Interface with clients to define project requirements and establish project work plan.
4. Provide detailed estimation and bid for construction projects.
5. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
6. Manage the budget, keep track of supplies, equipment, and material, and order more when necessary.
7. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
8. Instruct and supervise construction personnel and activities onsite.
9. Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other problems.
10. Comply with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in the construction industry.
3. Proven experience in construction project management, concrete paving, asphalt, estimating, and Bid Estimation.
4. Excellent knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and specific tools.
5. Strong understanding of construction operations and processes.
6. Proficient in construction management software programs.
7. Familiarity with regulatory construction standards and building codes.
8. Exceptional leadership and management skills with the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions.
9. Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong financial and budgeting skills.
10. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
11. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
