Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to join our thriving construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical general contracting with a proven track record in project management, construction, and budget management. This role will require you to manage all aspects of electrical construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage all aspects of electrical construction projects, including but not limited to, site analysis, project scope, budget estimation, project scheduling, material procurement, contract negotiation, and project execution.
2. Coordinate and supervise the work of all project team members including engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
4. Monitor project progress regularly, identify any potential risks or issues, and implement effective solutions to mitigate them.
5. Prepare and present detailed project reports to stakeholders, including project status, financial updates, and any changes to the project scope or schedule.
6. Ensure that all projects adhere to the highest standards of safety and quality, and comply with all relevant regulations and codes.
7. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement in project management processes and practices, and implement changes as necessary.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical general contracting, with a focus on project management in the commercial construction industry.
3. Proven experience in managing large-scale electrical construction projects from inception to completion.
4. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and safety regulations.
5. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
6. Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management, cost estimation, and financial reporting.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
8. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
9. Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent is a plus.
