We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Southeast Field Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our organization and plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation and maintenance of our heat treatment processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in capital equipment, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering. This position requires a minimum of five years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

As a Field Application Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and implementing heat treatment processes for various materials.
  2. Providing technical support to customers, service engineers, and sales team on heat treatment applications and equipment.
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test heat treatment processes and equipment.
  4. Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of heat treatment equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  5. Evaluating and improving heat treatment processes and equipment to enhance efficiency and quality.
  6. Preparing technical reports and documentation on heat treatment processes and equipment.
  7. Training and mentoring junior engineers and technicians on heat treatment processes and equipment.
  8. Staying updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in metals and materials sciences.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Field Application Engineer role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  2. A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role.
  3. Extensive knowledge and experience with capital equipment, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering.
  4. Strong understanding of industrial processes and equipment.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  7. Proficiency in using various software and tools for designing, testing, and analyzing materials science processes and equipment.
  8. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
  10. Proven track record of delivering results and driving continuous improvement in heat treatment processes and equipment.
