Title: Lead Maintenance Manager

Location: South Plainfield, NJ

Salary: $70,000- $85,000

Requirements: Manufacturing Machine Maintenance / Industrial Maintenance/ Pneumatic and Hydraulics

1. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and life cycle.
2. Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations.
3. Inspect machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues.
4. Ensure that all mechanical and electrical systems are up to date and meet all standard regulations.
5. Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
6. Oversee inventory and order new parts when necessary.
7. Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
8. Prepare and control department budget, forecast needs and manage expenditures.
9. Train and guide subordinates in the latest technology and automation.
10. Monitor the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management or a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and PLC.
3. Proven experience in conducting routine inspections and maintenance tasks.
4. Advanced skills in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
5. Solid understanding of safety compliance and inventory management.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
10. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field is preferred.
