Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain project momentum
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
  • Manage resource allocation, including personnel, materials, and equipment
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks
  • Prepare and submit detailed progress reports to upper management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably in commercial and residential projects
  • Proven track record of successfully completed projects within the Chicago metro area
  • Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office Suite
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, informed decisions
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites
