Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily activities on-site, overseeing subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of the project

Prepare detailed daily reports on crew sizes, completed work, weather conditions, delays, and other critical site information

Review and manage as-built drawings and ensure compliance with contract requirements

Schedule subcontractors, material deliveries, and procurement of tools in line with the project timeline

Assist the Quality Control Manager (QCM) in preparatory meetings, ensuring work is aligned with project specifications

Collaborate with site personnel to resolve workforce grievances or complaints

Maintain strict adherence to safety measures, serving as a safety officer when required

Support the preparation of monthly invoices and review those from subcontractors and suppliers

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of experience managing large-scale commercial or governmental construction projects, particularly in the $10M – $50M range

Familiarity with USACE or other governmental project standards

Strong communication and organizational skills to efficiently manage multiple subcontractors and trades

Experience with scheduling, procurement, and project reporting

Valid driver’s license

Willingness to relocate to Detroit, MI prior to starting work
