Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing construction projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members. This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to work on a wide array of construction projects, ranging from commercial to residential builds.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the planning and implementation of construction projects.
  2. Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget.
  3. Prepare and maintain all necessary project documentation, including contracts, permits, and specifications.
  4. Monitor project progress, including tracking deliverables and making necessary adjustments.
  5. Coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables and track progress.
  6. Conduct regular meetings with project team members and stakeholders to provide updates and address any issues or concerns.
  7. Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication.
  8. Ensure all safety guidelines and regulations are strictly followed on the construction site.
  9. Assist in the resolution of any potential issues or risks, ensuring minimal impact on project deliverables.
  10. Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a Project Coordinator in the Construction industry, with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
  2. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, and legal requirements.
  4. Excellent ability to coordinate multiple tasks, organize, prioritize, and perform under pressure.
  5. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  6. Strong familiarity with construction management software.
  7. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with diverse groups of people, including architects, contractors, and engineers.
  9. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  10. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  11. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  12. Certification in project management, such as PMP or CAPM, is an advantage.
