We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Permanent Field Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading company in the engineering industry, known for its innovation and excellence. You will be working with power conversion equipment, conducting installations, performing functional tests, and dealing with a variety of electrical troubleshooting tasks. You will also be handling wiring, fuses, circuit breakers, capacitors, and PCB. This position requires a willingness to travel up to 75% of the time (all expenses covered.)

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Field Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Installing, maintaining, and repairing power conversion equipment.
  2. Conducting functional tests to ensure equipment is operating at optimal levels.
  3. Performing electrical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  4. Handling wiring, fuses, circuit breakers, capacitors, and PCB.
  5. Collaborating with the team to develop and implement strategies for improving equipment performance and reliability.
  6. Traveling to various locations to provide on-site engineering support.
  7. Providing technical training and guidance to junior team members.
  8. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
  9. Documenting all installation, maintenance, and repair work.
  10. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  3. Extensive knowledge of power conversion equipment, including installation and functional testing.
  4. Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, wiring, fuses, circuit breakers, capacitors, and PCB.
  5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
  9. Familiarity with AC and DC power systems.
  10. A valid driver's license / Passport
  11. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
