Salary: $105,000 - $120,000 per year

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Lead safety training programs for employees to promote awareness and compliance with safety standards.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other applicable safety laws and standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OSHA regulations and implement changes as required.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of safety-related incidents, inspections, and training activities.
  • Develop and distribute safety-related communications, such as newsletters and safety alerts.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to integrate safety into all manufacturing processes.
  • Manage the workers' compensation program, including claims processing and coordination with insurance carriers.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management software.
  • A bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
