We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Mechanical Maintenance & Reliability Engineer to join our team. This role is a key player in our manufacturing operations, ensuring that our machinery and equipment are always operating at peak performance. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adept at identifying and implementing solutions to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our mechanical systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, preventative maintenance, root cause analysis, and corrective action skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and tests of machinery and equipment to detect malfunctions and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  3. Perform root cause analysis to identify the causes of mechanical failures and develop appropriate corrective actions.
  4. Use SAP to manage maintenance schedules, track equipment performance, and document maintenance activities.
  5. Collaborate with the production team to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
  6. Develop and implement reliability analysis methodologies to predict potential failures and recommend preventive measures.
  7. Participate in the design and installation of new equipment, ensuring it meets reliability and maintenance requirements.
  8. Provide technical guidance and training to the maintenance team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  9. Stay abreast of the latest developments in mechanical engineering and maintenance techniques to ensure the company's practices are up to date.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and reliability engineering in a manufacturing environment.
  3. Proven experience in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
  4. Strong knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.
  5. Experience with SAP or a similar maintenance management system.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues.
  7. Strong technical skills with the ability to understand and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  9. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  10. A strong commitment to safety and a proven track record of adhering to safety standards.
