Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year

We are a food manufacturing company that produces high-quality, plant-based dairy alternatives made from clean, simple ingredients. Our product line includes oat-based yogurts and other non-dairy offerings, emphasizing sustainability and nutrition.

Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Harrisburg, PA

Salary: $75,000- $90,000

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing systems, utilizing your knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling, and production equipment capabilities.
2. Design and implement preventative maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
3. Utilize AutoCAD and other engineering software to create, modify, and analyze engineering drawings and designs.
4. Conduct engineering analysis and mechanical testing to verify product design and performance.
5. Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment and machinery, diagnosing problems and determining the best solutions.
6. Apply your expertise in 3D printing and machine design to enhance manufacturing processes and improve product quality.
7. Ensure compliance with quality control standards in the food and beverage manufacturing process, identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of excellence.
9. Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and advancements, applying this knowledge to your role.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the manufacturing industry.
3. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D printing, and machine design.
4. Proven experience in equipment troubleshooting and repair.
5. Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
6. Experience in the food and beverage manufacturing industry is preferred.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
10. Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
11. Solid understanding of mechanical testing and engineering drawings.
