Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 per year

Job Details

We are looking to hire a Director to oversee our Water/Wastewater Treatment Team at our Lakewood, Colorado office. This senior-level role will primarily focus on managing water and wastewater projects, including treatment initiatives across Colorado, the Southwest, throughout the U.S., and internationally.

Responsibilities for this position include team leadership, mentoring junior engineers within the Water/Wastewater team, engaging in marketing and business development efforts, conducting engineering calculations, advancing design development, performing site visits, and more. Successful candidates will be expected to interface with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders, demonstrating a proven track record in marketing and business strategy.

Requirements:

Over 15 years of advancing experience in civil engineering, with a focus on water/wastewater treatment for more than 10 years.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

Licensed PE (Professional Engineer) in the State of Colorado or eligibility to acquire licensure within 3 months.

Preferred requirements:

Minimum 10 years of experience in water/wastewater treatment.

Minimum 10 years of experience holding a PE license.

Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering.

Proficiency with Civil3D, FlowMaster, BioWin preferred.

Field experience in construction and operations.

Demonstrated enthusiasm for engaging in company initiatives.

Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage technical staff across multiple concurrent projects.
