Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, ensuring compliance with all regulatory bodies.
- Lead and manage the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors, highlighting the company's financial performance and forecasts.
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, financial forecasting, and negotiations.
- Develop and implement robust financial management systems to enhance accuracy in financial planning and management.
- Work with the management team to develop the company's business strategy, aligning it with financial management strategies.
- Lead the company's financial planning and budgeting, ensuring the company has adequate resources to achieve its objectives.
- Coordinate the capital budgeting process, ensuring that the company's investments are financially sound.
- Implement effective risk management strategies and processes to ensure the company's financial security.
- Oversee the company's financial accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop financial models to support management in making financial decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
- CPA or other relevant qualification is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance and other accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
- Ability to strategize and solve problems.
- Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
- Skill in strategic planning and business development.
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
- Professional certification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
- Experience with investor owned organizations is a plus
