Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, ensuring compliance with all regulatory bodies.
  • Lead and manage the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors, highlighting the company's financial performance and forecasts.
  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, financial forecasting, and negotiations.
  • Develop and implement robust financial management systems to enhance accuracy in financial planning and management.
  • Work with the management team to develop the company's business strategy, aligning it with financial management strategies.
  • Lead the company's financial planning and budgeting, ensuring the company has adequate resources to achieve its objectives.
  • Coordinate the capital budgeting process, ensuring that the company's investments are financially sound.
  • Implement effective risk management strategies and processes to ensure the company's financial security.
  • Oversee the company's financial accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop financial models to support management in making financial decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
  • CPA or other relevant qualification is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance and other accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems.
  • Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Skill in strategic planning and business development.
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
  • Professional certification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
  • Experience with investor owned organizations is a plus
