Job Details:

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our innovative team in the manufacturing industry. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of our electrical equipment and systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and a knack for problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in controls, Studio 5000 Logix Designer, automation, and HMI. This is a permanent position, and the successful candidate will be a key player in driving our company’s future success.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and test electrical equipment and systems, ensuring they are installed and functioning according to specifications.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system requirements and to design solutions.
  3. Utilize Studio 5000 Logix Designer in the development and testing of control systems.
  4. Implement and oversee automation processes, leveraging your expertise in HMI to improve efficiency and productivity.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing equipment and systems, applying innovative solutions to prevent recurrence.
  6. Monitor the manufacturing processes, making recommendations for improvements and modifications.
  7. Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in electrical engineering and manufacturing technology, ensuring our company remains at the forefront of the industry.
  9. Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering in the manufacturing industry.
  3. Proven experience with controls, Studio 5000 Logix Designer, Automation, and HMI.
  4. Strong knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes and systems.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
  6. Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring and guiding teams.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  8. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  9. Up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, codes, and standards.
  10. Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
