Salary: $85,000 - $105,000 per year

Based in the South Bay of Los Angeles (Torrance, Gardena, Redondo Beach, Lomita) & Long Beach, CA we're an award winning Property Management & Real Estate Company who specialize in delivering exceptional living experiences across residential multi-family communities as well as commercial & mixed use properties. We've just opened up a Regional Property Supervisor role in Los Angeles, which will oversee our Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) and Affordable Housing (LIHTC/Section 8) portfolio. A successful candidate will be able to supervise a team of on-site property managers across these assets (PSH/HUD/Affordable Housing), traveling locally 25-50% of the time to various properties in the region, otherwise operating remotely from home or at your favorite coffee shops!

Key Responsibilities:

• Multi-family Portfolio Management: Oversee the operations of approximately 10-15 properties, with an emphasis on Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH), and Affordable Housing (HUD/LIHTC).
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of on-site property managers, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations to ensure excellence.
• Compliance: overseeing regulatory and compliance activities with HUD and other relevant agencies.
• Budget & Financial Oversight: Develop and manage budgets for properties, analyze financial reports, and implement strategies to achieve financial objectives and enhance profitability.
• Lease-Up Experience: Apply your knowledge of lease-up processes to effectively manage and oversee new construction properties, ensuring successful lease-up and occupancy rates.
• Field Presence: Maintain a strong field presence by regularly visiting properties, addressing issues on-site, and building relationships with tenants and staff. Work from home, at the properties, or in local coffee shops as needed, with periodic office visits during training.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Regional/Multi-site Property Management experience (multi-family | PSH | affordable housing).
• 3+ years of experience overseeing a PSH/Affordable Housing portfolio.
• Yardi Expertise: Proven experience using Yardi software for property management and financial tracking.
• Budget Management: Demonstrated experience in managing budgets and financials for residential properties.
• Team Management: Strong background in overseeing and managing a team of property managers, with a focus on leadership and development.
• Location Flexibility: Ability to work remotely or from various locations in greater Los Angeles, with an initial training period at our Long Beach office.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and prioritize effectively.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with team members and tenants.
