Job Details:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager to join our expanding team in the Engineering industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for a high impact professional who is passionate about project management and thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading and delivering complex projects on time and within budget. This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with all levels of management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex projects from initial concept through final implementation, ensuring that all objectives are met within the agreed time frame and budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including objectives, timelines, technical specifications, and budgets.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication to ensure all stakeholders are aligned and informed about project status, risks, and issues.
- Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders and senior management, providing insight into project performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Implement project management best practices and methodologies, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams, including engineering, procurement, finance, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project deliverables.
- Foster a collaborative project environment, promoting open communication, mutual respect, and teamwork.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification will be considered a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the engineering industry.
- Proven experience in managing complex projects, with a strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and present complex information to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret project data and develop insightful reports.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project goals.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project or Primavera.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
