We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Trusts and Estates Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of complex and challenging matters in the trusts and estates field. You will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to our clients on all aspects of trusts and estates law, including estate planning, probate, and estate administration.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Trusts and Estates Attorney, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Drafting and reviewing complex wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
  2. Providing legal advice to clients on all aspects of trusts and estates law, including estate planning, probate, and estate administration.
  3. Representing clients in probate court proceedings, including the probate of wills and the administration of estates.
  4. Advising clients on tax planning strategies to minimize estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes.
  5. Conducting legal research and analysis on complex issues related to trusts and estates law.
  6. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the efficient and effective management of trusts and estates matters.
  7. Keeping up-to-date with changes in trusts and estates law and informing clients of any changes that may affect their estate plans.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Trusts and Estates Attorney position will have the following qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  2. Admission to the state bar.
  3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in trusts and estates law, with a focus on estate planning and probate.
  4. Demonstrated experience in drafting and reviewing complex wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
  5. Strong knowledge of tax laws related to trusts and estates.
  6. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  7. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive client relationships.
  9. High level of professionalism and adherence to legal and ethical standards.
  10. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
